| CTRP3

C1q and Tumor Necrosis Factor Related Protein 3 (C1QTNF3), also known as CTRP3, is a member of the C1q/TNF-related protein (CTRP) family. C1QTNF3/CTRP3 is an adipokine and a paralog of adiponectin, sharing structural similarities with adiponectin and other CTRP family members. It consists of four distinct domains: an N-terminal signal peptide, a short variable domain, a collagen-like domain, and a C-terminal C1q-like globular domain. These domains are crucial for its biological functions and interactions with other molecules.
